Awkward spaces to elegant storage

The challenge

Here's the challenge

This top-floor flat in a converted Edwardian building boasts stunning views and charming slanting ceilings in every room, creating a cozy environment for the young couple who live here. However, the low angles in their bedroom turned the space beneath the eaves into an unorganised dumping ground, detracting from the calm retreat they desired.

The Process

The clever stuff

To maintain flexibility without compromising the space, we introduced a defined separation between the storage area and the rest of the bedroom. A custom frame was installed to delineate the storage area, finished with a deep walnut fascia and stylish rattan panelled double doors, blending elegance and functionality.

The result

A serene retreat

The result is an attractive and accessible storage solution, with ample space behind the elegant front. Now, items are easily stored and hidden, transforming the bedroom into a serene and organised retreat that truly reflects the couple’s style.
